Hon was born in Malaysia and moved to America at the age of 10. Hon started his culinary journey from a young age when he started working in his father's restaurant on weekends and after school. Although he started off by washing dishes and cutting vegetables, Hon quickly started to appreciate his fathers work of art as a Sushi chef. Hon takes extreme pride and joy in his work and after years of working along side his father Hon established himself as a head sushi chef. Hon created HON SAUCE to be able to share his passion for cooking along with his family traditions.
